Crawler Camera

Crawler Cameras are rugged pipeline inspection system engineered for reliable visual assessment of underground and confined infrastructure across a wide range of pipe diameters.

Key Features:
✔️ Three crawler variants for small, large, and vertical pipeline inspections
✔️ Coverage for pipe diameters from 6 to 72 inches across system models
✔️ Pan-and-tilt camera head with self-leveling stabilization
✔️ High-intensity LED lighting for clear visibility in dark, wet environments
✔️ IP68-rated sealing with corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy chassis
✔️ Motorized track drive system with up to 45° climbing capability
✔️ Real-time video transmission with recording and distance measurement
✔️ Interchangeable camera heads for different inspection requirements

Crawler Camera

The Crawler Camera system comes in three types: L 90, L 135 Tractor, and Lafette, designed for pipeline inspection in varying diameter ranges. The L 90 navigates pipes from 6 to 36 inches with a compact footprint and self-leveling camera head that maintains orientation during travel. The L 135 Tractor handles larger conduits from 8 to 72 inches using heavy-duty drive motors and reinforced chassis construction. The Lafette variant features articulating arms for vertical pipe inspection and adjustable track width to accommodate irregular passage dimensions. All types mount pan-and-tilt camera modules with LED lighting arrays.

Each unit incorporates corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy frames with IP68-rated sealing against water and debris ingress. Drive systems use independent motorized tracks that provide climbing angles up to 45 degrees in wet conditions. Operators control movement, camera positioning, and lighting intensity through tethered cable connections transmitting video and telemetry data. The systems record high-resolution footage to external DVRs while simultaneously displaying live feeds. Onboard distance encoders track crawler position within pipelines for accurate defect location mapping. Interchangeable camera heads accommodate different focal lengths and sensor specifications.

Municipal water departments deploy the Crawler Camera for main line condition assessment and leak detection surveys. Military base infrastructure teams use them to inspect stormwater drainage systems and fuel line integrity. Navy shipyard facilities rely on these crawlers for ballast tank inspections and hull penetration surveys. Airforce installation maintenance crews examine underground utility tunnels and communication conduit networks without excavation.

Tactical Supply Pakistan stocks all three crawler types with operator training programs and replacement component availability. The company supports government agencies and contractors with technical consultation for application-specific camera and lighting configurations.

What maximum inspection distance can these crawlers achieve?
Cable length determines inspection range, with standard 500-foot reels providing adequate reach for most applications, while extended 1,000-foot configurations serve longer pipeline runs without interruption.
