Swing-Prism Rigid Borescopes
Swing-Prism Rigid Borescopes are specialized optical inspection instruments with a fixed-length, rigid insertion tube and a pivoting prism assembly at the distal end. The inspector controls a lever on the eyepiece housing to mechanically swing the prism, changing the line of sight from direct forward (0°) to various side-viewing angles (commonly 90°). This provides two inspection perspectives in one tool, making it ideal for examining the bore of cylinders, hydraulic manifolds, and complex internal geometries where both the bottom and sidewalls need to be inspected for cracks, corrosion, or machining defects without removing the scope.
-
Rigid metal tube for durability and precise positioning.
-
Mechanically linked swing-prism controlled from the eyepiece handle.
-
Provides dual viewing angles (e.g., 0° and 90°) for comprehensive internal inspection.
-
Uses a series of relay lenses or a fiber bundle to transmit the optical image to the eyepiece.
-
Essential for preventative maintenance in engine manufacturing, power generation, and precision machining.
-
A classic and highly effective tool in the non-destructive testing (NDT) toolkit.
Achieve dual-perspective inspection. Use Swing-Prism Rigid Borescopes from Tactical Supply Pakistan for detailed examination of cylinders and internal chambers.
