The Active Optoelectronic Detection System (VAR200 and VAR300) is a stationary, AI-driven counter-drone solution that combines active detection, intelligent identification, target positioning, and evidence collection into a single autonomous unit, operating independently without reliance on radar or RF equipment. The VAR200 offers a 0-1km detection range with 40x optical zoom, 3840×2160 resolution, and a 30°/second scan speed, while the upgraded VAR300 adds infrared thermal imaging (VOx uncooled focal plane, 640×512 resolution) and laser rangefinding for daytime detection up to 1.5km and nighttime up to 1km, with IP66-rated 24-hour continuous operation. Both systems use deep learning and AI vision algorithms for multi-spectral, all-weather detection and tracking of low, slow, and small drones, recording flight trajectories and imagery for forensic evidence and closed-loop response. Designed for airports, high-speed rail stations, prisons, petrochemical sites, and critical infrastructure, the system supports integration into broader low-altitude security networks.
