The Viken Detection OSPREY-UVX POV (Passenger Vehicle Configuration) is a standalone undercarriage Backscatter (Bx) imaging system delivering complete undercarriage scans with optional through-vehicle transmission imaging, powered by a 225 KeV X-ray tube with no live source and multiple detector modules covering the full vehicle undercarriage. Featuring a 10ft×10.3ft scan tunnel, IP54 environmental rating for -10°C to 50°C operation, automated scan activation integrated with traffic management systems, and optional LPR vehicle identification, remote tablet image review, and command-and-control integration, it’s purpose-built for border crossings, security checkpoints, critical infrastructure, airports, seaports, and prison facility protection.
