Junction Box

The Junction Box features a dual-channel 16-bit analog-to-digital converter operating at 2.5 MHz sampling rate combined with an MCU-FPGA processing architecture. The unit accepts two differential radar antenna inputs rated at ±10Vpp maximum analog signal level. Internal FIFO memory capacity reaches 30 megabytes enabling extended acquisition periods without data loss. Data transfer occurs via 100 Mbps Ethernet connectivity supporting simultaneous operation of two Doppler radar systems. The housing measures 10cm x 37cm x 32cm and weighs 5.2kg for field portability.

Signal conditioning circuitry processes analog inputs before digital conversion and Ethernet transmission to connected computers. One analog trigger input and one TTL trigger output facilitate synchronized operation with external timing devices.
