Combat Application Tourniquet (C‑A‑T)
The Combat Application Tourniquet (C‑A‑T) includes a windlass clip with ambidextrous rapid-lock functionality. Its large-diameter windlass rod features aggressive ribbing to ensure a secure grip during twist tightening. A reinforced welding process bonds the strap firmly to the clip, while the tactical-grey windlass strap prevents dislodgment during movement. Additionally, the beveled stabilization plate distributes pressure evenly to minimize discomfort under load. The single-routing buckle design allows for fast slack removal and swift application. Internally, a free-moving pressure band balances force across the limb and reduces edge pressure spikes. The Red Tip Technology®—a red elliptical tip—guides users when threading the strap.
